Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time written by Paul Allor and Erik Burnham with art by Sophie Campbell, Charles Paul Wilson III, Ben Bates, and Dan Duncan

Now surpisingly, I'm not the biggest fan of IDW's TMNT in general. Im sorry lol. To me it's all just people standing around and talking about drama without ever actually seeing it. What I'm looking for is creative action and emotional impact!! And I find that in TMNT Turtles in Time.

What I absolutely love about this is that for each time the turtles get sent to a differt period, you get a different artist, which really gives each one a specific feel. What I also absolutely love about this and fits in my brain so well, is each turtle gets their own spotlight in each chapter, and they shine so well!!! Each one gets to explore a part of themselves and it's just so satisfying to me. These moments in time of course impact the rest of the story, giving us glimpses to a potential future, the dire stakes of the present, and planting seeds in the past. And like always, it's got some really funny bits that always make me smile hehe.

Nova: Ressurection by Jeff Lovenes, Ramon Perez, and Scot Hepburn

I LOVE NOVA. I'd say he's comparable to a Spider-man in space, except the responsibility is even bigger and our Sam Alexander is a quite a bit dumber lol. But what he makes up for his smarts are his strong morals, he is a good kid at heart and even when he makes mistakes, he is very skilled at making amends and rolling with the punches, which is perfect when dealing with the wild west of space.

Ressurection is probably my favorite book of the entire Nova series. But I reccomend taking a look at backstory of this new generation of Nova and maybe take a peek at the Champions (basically the Gen Z generation of the Avengers) that all come before this story. I think it gives you some good context (for both plot and jokes) and much needed emotional impact for this specific comic.
You can try reading in this order:
Nova: Origin
Nova: Rookie Season
Nova: Nova Corpse
Nova: Burnout
Nova: Afterburn

Champions: Change the World
